A. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
1. Christian Living Education
This program is taught in nursery, Kinder and Prep. To bring about formation of moral and spiritual values in children. It aims to develop in the preschoolers an appreciation of themselves as special people created by God and gifted with many abilities and talents.

In the nursery level, this program brings out in the preschooler a sense of joy, appreciation and gratitude for their uniqueness, and acceptance for their differences as well as similarities. The program for kinder goes beyond the self but on people in the community where they are taught to express appreciation and gratitude to god by caring for one self and for the whole of God’s creation. For the prep the concepts and Christian values that have been developed are deepened and enriched. The preschoolers are made to realize that God, the loving Father, expects them to live harmoniously and cooperatively in a loving manner with service to their respective family, with others in God’s big family and with their environment.
 
2. Communication Arts English
Communication Arts, being one of the most important facets in the development of your children, is taught from Nursery to Preparatory. It is an ingredient of every activity and experience in the early childhood classroom. This program aims to develop the children’s personal expression and social communication by translating raw experiences into verbal symbols that can be used to express their thoughts and emotion. Children increase their abilities both in listening and speaking through participation in stories, poetry, dramatic play, dramatizations and other related activities. Beginning reading is taught in Kinder, while formal reading and comprehension is taught in Prep.
 
3. Communication Arts Filipino
This program is given to Nursery, Kinder and Preparatory. Oral communication skill is developed in Nursery and Kinder, while skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Filipino are developed in Prep.
 
4. Preschool Mathematics
Preschool Mathematics is taught from Nursery to Preparatory. In the Nursery level, understanding of their math concepts which grow out of their experiences with objects, food, play materials, nature, time and space is developed. The pupils are provided with learning experiences that will develop beginning number concepts like recognizing numbers, counting, understanding meaning of numbers and some simple addition concepts in Kinder. More abstract math concepts such as time, money and space are introduced in Prep.
 
5. Music, Arts, Movement
This program is given to Nursery, Kinder and Prep. It enables the preschoolers to experience pleasure and joy, thus creative expressions, emotional balance, positive self-concepts, music appreciation and development of musical-related skills such as rhythm, meter, pitch and tone are enhanced. With its therapeutic value, it can also enhance the child’s feeling of self-worth. Although songs and singing are the most experience, the program also provides musical games, rhythmic activities, art activities and loco-motor movements.
 
B. ACADEMIC PROGRAMS OF GRADES 1-6
Christian Living Education
CLED 1
The child’s understanding of God as loving and good motivates them to know more about God the Father as the Creator and Jesus as their Brother. This course makes them aware that everything in this world was created by God. This covered how God the Father showed His great love for the people. It will help the pupils to realize and expose the Living God who is in the Church and is among us. This context also makes the pupils realize how to value and how to give importance for their own family.
CLED 2
The child understanding of God as loving and good motivates her/him to yearn for Him with much eagerness and enthusiasm. This makes him aware of the invaluable experiences of the personal encounter and sharing with the life of the loving God in the sacrament of Baptism, Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist. Hence, s/he becomes conscious of the value of belongingness, forgiveness and the glory of unity even in diversity and the strength of togetherness. S/He therefore, becomes a faithful follower of His Son, Jesus. The course is primarily designed to prepare the pupils for their First Holy Communion and their participation in the Eucharistic Celebration.
CLED 3
This course takes up the context of the Christian message for the third graders in their experience and value of friendship. They know Jesus as their Best Friend. They will learn how to use the Bible. Through the Bible, they learn the origin of the universe, from Adam and Eve, the Patriarch, the Prophets, the first close friends of Jesus, the Apostles. It also discusses the Church, the people of God, the Christians.
CLED 4
This course takes up the subject of Catholic Christian morality – to live as a disciple of Jesus by following His commandments of love. The formula of real happiness contained in the beatitudes, and the Christian meaning of human freedom and personal conscience. The Ten Commandments and the corresponding Christian virtues are explained, concluding with ways being a “person for others.”
CLED 5
A child’s life as a Christian must be a life of joy. It is a continuous joy of celebrating God’s loving goodness. Through the seven sacraments, the child experiences joy in an encounter with Christ. The child is made to understand that there is always reason to celebrate life with God. The sacrament shows how God responds to our temporal and spiritual needs.
CLED 6
This course focusing on the context of the Christian message for the Grade Six shows the development and growth of their faith and love for as they experience it in day-to-day living with the people around them. There lives as Christians must be a life of joy. It is a continuous joy of celebrating God’s loving goodness. Through the seven sacraments, they experience joy in an encounter with Christ, the Church of disciples, communion of saint, defender of human life and journeying with God.
 
English
English in Grade 1
Is injected with science concept and it includes the study of differences in speech, word stress, intonation patterns in sentences heard; speak clearly and use appropriate expressions in talking about oneself and the immediate environment; read with ease and understanding beginners’ books in English; and write legibly information about oneself, common words and simple sentences in manuscript form.
English in Grade 2
Is incorporated with science concepts. The child is expected to listen critically to 1-2 paragraphs; use appropriate expressions in varied situations and about places of interest; read critically and fluently in correct thought units, texts for information and entertainment and respond to environmental prints like signs, posters, commands and requests; and write legibly simple sentences and messages in cursive form.
English in Grade 3
Includes listening critically to get information from text heard; demonstrate independence in using the basic language comprehension.
English in Grade 4
Includes listening critically to news reports, radio broadcast and express ideas accurately in oral and written form; demonstrates more independence in the use of language to meet everyday needs; and read independently for pleasure and get information from various text types.
English in Grade 5
Includes listening critically to different text types; express ideas logically in oral and written forms; demonstrate interest in reading to meet one’s various needs.
English in Grade 6
Includes listening critically; communicate one’s feelings and ideas orally and in writing with a high level of proficiency; and read with various text types materials to serve one’s own learning needs in meeting a wide range of life’s purposes.
 
Paglalarawan ng Kurso sa Communication Arts Filipino
Ang asignaturang Filipino ay binubuo ng mga araling lilinang sa kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral tungo sa mabisang pakikipagtalastasan.Upang magkaroon ng lubos na kakayahan sa apat na kasanayang pangwika: 1. pagbasa 2. pang-unawa 3. pagsasalita 4. pagsulat.

Pagsusuri at pagpapahalaga sa mga akdang pampanitikan ng Pilipinas sa historikal na pananaw. Pagpapahalaga sa pagkakabuo ng sining/panitikan sa ibat-ibang kalakaran – katutubo, romantiko, mapanghigsik at realistiko. Ang literature ay makatutulong sa kabataan na tuklasin ang kanyang naisin, kung ano ang kanyang tatahakin kasabay ng pagbuo niya ng sariling pagpapahalaga at pagkilala sa sarili at lipunang kinabibilangan. Magiging ganap ito sapagkat ang paksa ng panitikan ay buhay na Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makabayan at Makakalikasan.

 
Unang Baitang at Ikalawang Baitang
Lubusang pagkilala ng Alpabetong Filipino, pagbasa nang may wastong tunog ng mga ito. Pagkilala sa patinig at katinig, pagpapantig ng mga salita. Pagkilala sa mga pangngalan, pantangi at pambalana. Anyo, kasarian at kailanan ng pangngalan. Pagbuo at pagbigkas ng wasto ng mga simpleng salita. Paggamit ng mga magagalang na salita sa pagbati sa araw-araw na pag-uusap. Pagbasa at pagtalakay sa mga akdang Pampanitikan na kapupulutan ng mahahalagang aral.
 
Ikatlo at Ikaapat na Baitang
Pagbasa at pagtalakay sa ibat’-ibang uri ng mga akdang Pampanitikan. Pagpapahayag ng mga mag-aaral ng sariling ideya at kaisipan tungkol sa mga narinig. Pagbibigay ng sariling reaksyon at paglahok sa iba’t-ibang talakayan. Pagtukoy ng mga pangyayaring nag-uugnay sa sanhi at bunga ng mga pangyayari at pagsusunod-sunod ng mga ideya at sitwasyon. Pagkilala sa iba’t-ibang uri ng babasahin at pagsulat ng maikling komposisyonon. Pgkilala ng lubusan sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng pananalita. Paglinang ng mga kasanayang pangwika at paggamit ng istrukturang pangwika sa epektibong pakikipagtalastasan.
 
Ikalima at Ikaanim na Baitang
Pagbasa at pagtalakay sa iba’t-ibang uri ng akdang Panitikan na sumasailalim sa realidad ng buhay at kapupulutan ng mahahalagang aral. Pagbubuod ng mga mag-aaral ng mga nabasa at napakinggan. Pagbibigay solusyon sa mga suliranin batay sa karanasan at mga natutuhang kaalaman sa ano mang sitwasyon. Pagsulat ng iba’t-ibang salaysay at dayalogo sa tulong ng mga ideya/tala. Pagtalakay sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng pananalita at paglinang ng mga kasanayan para sa epektibong pakikipagtalastasan.
 
Science
Science and health is taught from Grade 3 - Grade 6. This program aims to develop an understanding of how science relates to everyday life, the comprehension of the environment and the acquisition of science skills, attitudes and values necessary to solve everyday problems. On the other hand, its goal as a health program is the development and promotion of knowledge, attitudes values and behavior essential to individual, family and community health.

Science concepts and basic skills like observing comparing, classifying communicating, predicting inferring, quantifying, experimenting and practices in Health are infused in learning areas where it blends naturally and taken as separate units in other areas. Nevertheless, Science and Health are not taken as two separate learning areas but as one learning area where science compliments Health and Health reinforces Science.

 
Mathematics
GOAL: Demonstrates understanding and skills in computing accurately, estimating communicating, think analytically and critically, and in solving problems in daily life using appropriate techniques.

Mathematics in Grades One, Two and Three includes the study of the basic concepts and skills on whole numbers, fundamental operations, fractions, metric and local measurements, basic geometry, graph reading, telling directions, the use of money and applications to practical problems based on real life activities.

In Grades Four, Five and Six, the child is expected to have mastered the concepts and operations of whole numbers, fractions and decimals including money and measurement; conceptualize the meaning of ratio and proportion, angles, plane and spatial figures, scales, maps and graphs; perform skills on percent, integers, and simple probability. Simple concepts in algebra will be introduced in these grades and to be articulated in the higher grade levels.

Makabayan 1
Ang kursong ito ay inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral ng unang baitang sa elementarya. Ito ay ang pinagsanib na mga kaalaman at kasanayan sa pagtuturo ng Sibika at Kultura/Heograpiya, kabahagi ng Musika, Sining, Edukasyong Pangkatawan at Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan. Ito ay tumutugon sa pangunahing katangiang dimension ng bagong kurikulum na tinaguriang “Restucted Curriculum ng Department of Education”
 
Makabayan 2
Ang kursong ito ay inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral ng Sibika at Kultura sa ikalawang baitang. Naglalaman ito ng lawak at pagkasunod-sunod ng konsepto tungkol sa Heogrepiya/Kasaysayan at Sibika batay sa iminumungkahi ng “Philippine Elementary Learning Competencies”. Ito ay nahahati sa tatlong pangunahing pagpapahalaga tungo sa paglinang ng pagmamahal sa bansa at pagmamalaki sa pagka Pilipino at pagiging Pilipino.
 
Makabayan 3
Ang kursong ito inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral ng ikatlong baitang na tumutugon sa bagong kurikulum ayon sa itinakda ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon. Ito ay tumutukoy sa asignaturang Sibika at Kultura, Musika, Sining at Edukasyong Pangkatawan. Layunin ng Kurikulum na ito na makatulong sa paglinang ng kaalaman at lubusang pagkatuto upang maging kapakipakinabang na mga mamamayan sa hinaharap.
 
Hekasi 4
Ang kursong ito ay inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral ng ika-apat na baitang. Inihanda ito upang maisaloob ng mga mag-aaral ang pag-aaral ng Kasaysayan, Heograpiya at Sibika ng sariling bansa. Dito nila maipapamalas ang kanilang pangarap, mithiin, adhikain at mga karapatan. Matututunan rin ng mga bata ang maraming bagay sa pagkakakilanlan sa ating mga Pilipino.
 
Hekasi 5
Ang kursong ito inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral ng ikalimang baitang. Ang pag-aaral na ito ay batay sa Heograpiya, Kasaysayan at Sibika. Masusing iniayos ang mga aralin upang mabigyan ng paghamon ang mga mag-aaral sa kanilang mga kakayahan at kasanayan. Nililinang rin ang kanilang pagpapahalaga at pagkakaroon ng kaalaman tungkol sa ating bansa, mamamayan, pamahalaan, teritoryo, soberanya at pakikipag-ugnayan nito sa ibang bansa.
 
Hekasi 6
Ang kursong ito inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral ng Heograpiya. Kasaysayan at Sibika sa ikaanim ng baitang. Nakapaloob sa asignaturang ito ang mga kaalaman ukol sa konsepto, kasaysayan at kultura na naghahanda sa mga mag-aaral upang ito ay maging kahangahanga at katangi-tanging mag-aaral hanggang siya’y magkaroon ng sariling pamumuhay at destinasyon sa hinaharap. Ang mga aralin sa kurso na ito ay magiging mabuting panimula para sa pag-aaral ng mga Pilipino tungkol sa bansang kanyang sinilangan, ang Pilipinas at maging ang kanyang kapwa mag-aaral.
 
GRADE 4
Music 4
Children enjoy singing. They become more active when they move with music. In this course, the pupils will be provided with experiences in music which is very much important to develop their skills. All lessons will be equipped with movements and rhythm to cope up with the pupils’ need of being active and alert.
 
Art 4
Element of art is given priority in Art 4 since this is the first and basic lesson in Art. The focus will be given lines, forms, shapes, color, texture and rhythm as principles of art. They will be given a chance to prove that they are little artists in doing simple art activities that will become their foundation on the next levels of learning art.
 
Physical Education 4
The concern of this course is to engage students in various physical activities necessary to achieve physical fitness. This course will provide the students with basic understanding of the different factors that promote active and healthy lifestyle. Hands-on learning experiences in the different fitness related exercises will be provided.
 
GRADE 5
Music 5
There are elements in music which are very important and are needed to be studied. These elements make music good and beautiful. In this course, pupils will learn the different elements and apply it through singing, dancing and simple song writing. At the end of the course, the students are expected to have applied the basic elements of music in a short and simple composition.
 
Art 5
The elements of art are presented by symbols, signs and pictures which are shown from shapes, forms, texture lines and colors. The entire expression of an innermost feeling can be achieved by using these elements. In this course, the pupils will be given ample time and opportunity to use these elements in different art activities so that learners will be more exposed to meaningful activities and challenge their talents by means of composition in arts.
 
Physical Education 5
Physical fitness activities are important part of every pupils overall experiences in physical education. Pupils in this level must experience various physical activities to promote fitness and wellness. In this course, fundamental concepts of physical fitness will be discussed and they will be exposed to practical learning experiences in fitness and related activities to provide them with quality and healthy lifestyle.
 
GRADE 6
Music 6
Before a child learns to sing a song, he had already experienced responding to the basic elements of music that gives them certain ideas on how the music goes. One such element that is very basic and most important is the rhythm which is the pulse in music.

In this course, the pupils will enjoy learning music without difficulty as they experience a feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment through varied music activities. They are expected to develop in them vital physical response to rhythmic stimuli and find out how beautiful and colorful music is.

 
Art 6
This course will cover elements of art which are very essential in producing beautiful artworks. The pupils will be introduced to different mediums in art to suit their interests. The art activities that will be offered in this course are not only designated for pleasure but most especially for cultural appreciation and enrichment of pupil’s knowledge in arts.
 
Physical Education 6
In this course, the fundamental concept of physical fitness will be discussed to enable pupils to appreciate the importance of fitness in one’s life. Relevant physical activities will be discussed and learned to facilitate the pupil’s experience in various fitness pursuits.
 
Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) Grades 4-6
Ang edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan sa baitang 4, 5 at 6 ay naglalayong makatugon sa pangangailangan ng bawat tao at bilang isang lumalagong indibidwal. Inihahanda ang mga mag-aaral para sa hinaharap upang maging isang kapaki-pakinabang na mamamayan, may kakayahang gumawa ng ibat-ibang gawain sa loob at labas ng tahanan, may magandang asal, may kakayahang magsarili at maipagmalaki ng bansang Pilipinas.

Ang EPP 4, 5 at 6 ay kinapapalooban ng mga aralin ayon sa nalikom na katangian, kaalaman, hangarin, kakayahan at pangangailangan ng mag-anak na Pilipino ayon sa hinihingi ng kasalukuyang kapaligiran at ekonomiya ng bansa. Nakapaloob dito ang pangangalaga sa kapaligiran at kalikasan , ang pangangasiwa ng tahanan at mag-anak na tulad ng isang kumpanyang organisado, may pananagutan ang bawat kasapi, may pagpapahalaga at paggalang sa relasyon, may pagpapalago sa kabuhayan at higit sa lahat may kakayahang tugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga kasapi nito.

 
Computer Education Grades 1-6
Computer Education adopts the Techno Kids Computer Curriculum: Techno PC, Techno Illustrator, Techno Poet, Techno Images, Techno Link, Techno Entrepreneur, Techno Travel, Techno Commercial, Techno Planner, and Techno Designer (for Grades 1-10, correspondingly). It consists of theme-based projects which integrate technology into learning experiences of students where they can complete fun projects that focus around problem solving tasks. Students learn information and communication technology skills (word processing, graphics, operating environment, spreadsheets, multimedia, data base and desktop publishing) as they complete activities such as publishing a magazine, creating a multimedia storyboard or developing a website.

CLED 7
The course is designated for first year high school. Its focus is to develop a “thinking faith” through critical questioning methods and strategic used. It impresses on the students that there is a whole body of thought and content to critically know and understand their faith that Religion/Christian Living as a subject in the core curriculum requires some serious study, thinking and reflection in the context of the unceasingly interplay of faith and life. Make available to teachers and students the Christian faith vision of such immense richness and splendor with an enormous power to inspire and shape the human mind, heart and will.
 
CLED 8
The course presents mainly the life of Jesus. It is designed to help the students to encounter Christ by bringing them in contact with his person His words and deeds. This presents basically the fulfillment of the promise prophesied in the Old Testament- coming of the Messiah, Jesus His life is presented from the time of his birth, public ministry, up to his Ascension. The vision of the new heaven and the new earth is likewise presented. Thus, the course is divided into four sections in which each section presents the various phases is in the life and mission of the risen Christ.
 
CLED 9
This series of lessons on the Christ and Sacraments attempt to present the Church and her journey from her inception to her final consummation. It is hoped that at the end of the course, the users – both students and teacher of Christian living will see how the church begun from Christ, how Christ continues to be with this Church through the sacraments and other liturgical celebration, the proclamation of the word and social ministry, and how the church is constantly on the move towards full communion with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit at the fullness of time.

As a whole the approach has taken attempts the rational behavior and affective, imaginative and prayer spiritual dimensions of the person being educated in the faith. While its focus is to develop in the students a thinking faith, thought and critical questioning method and processes the challenge to think about; to think with her faith. They are also led to come in touch with the different affective imaginative spiritual depths of their persons, where they live their faith most deeply, personally and lovingly for God and for others.

 
CLED 10
The course focuses on developing in the students a more mature personal understanding and interior integration of the meaning and demands of their Christian moral life.

It begins with understanding the identity of man according to nature and according to Bible to equip him with his abilities and capabilities as human person; and the nature of god to which he could personally seek for the fulfillment of his Christian duties and obligations. It is succeeded with the fundamentals of morality: freedom, sin and conscience and proceeds with the development of the foundations of Christian morality in the Ten Commandments (Decalogue) and the Beatitudes. Some moral issues are presented at the later part of the course to make them aware of the current moral problems both the society and the church are confronted with. It ends with the aspects and dimensions of moral decision-making enabling the students to arrive with a good decision.

 
English
English in Grade 7
Includes literary materials which focuses Philippine Literature from the perspective of Filipino and foreign authors. Grammar lessons are also taught to enhance and further master the reading and speaking skills of the learner.
 
English in Grade 8
Is designated to enable the learner to become aware of the purpose of life itself. Thus, it is in this line of vision that it uses the Afro-Asian Literature that advocates holistic development of the individual. It also provides opportunities for the enhancement of four macro skills namely, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
 
English in Grade 9
Includes literary materials from British and North American literature. The course is intended to equip the learners with solid grounding in the practical and theoretical aspect on the use of the English Language. Thus, provides opportunities to discuss issues of personal, national, historical, cultural, and universal significance to develop in each of them the values and attitudes that will transform them into informed, responsible, cultured and righteous individual.
 
English in Grade 10
Includes masterpieces from world literature. This also provides opportunities for the learners to anticipate and prepare the future by learning the lessons of the past. The course uses the integrated approach wherein its six components such as grammar, reading, listening, writing speaking and literature are given an emphasis for the learners to really master them.

Masusing pag-aanalisa at pag-aaral ng mga tiyak na istrukturang gramatikal ng Filipino bilang isang wika kasabay sa pagtatamo ng wastong kasanayan at maunawang pagbasa. Pagsasanib ng mga interdisiplinaring paksa at bokabularyong nakapaloob sa iba’t-ibang uri ng teksto tulad prosijural, refernsyal, Jornalistik, literari at politico-ekonomik at ang pagkatuto iba’t-ibang istrukturang gramatikal. Pagbasa at pagtalakay sa akdang pampanitikan. Ibong Adarna sa Ikapitong Baitang at Florante at Laura sa Ikawalong Baitang. Paglinang ng Kasanayan sa pasulat na komunikasyon sa pamamagitan ng eksposyur sa iba’t-ibang uri ng komposisyon at malikhaing pagsulat.
 
Ikasiyam at Ikasampung Baitang
Pagkakaroon ng mapanuring pag-iisip sa pamamagitan ng kritikal na pagbabasa at pag-unawa sa iba’t-ibang genre ng panitikang local at rehyunal, nasyunal at Asyano nakasalin sa Filipino. Pagbasa at pagtalakay sa akdang pamanitikan. Noli Me Tangere sa Ikasiyam na baitang at El Filibusterismo sa Ikasampung Baitang. Paglinang ng kasanayan sa pagsulat na komunikasyon sa pamamagitan ng eksposyur sa iba’t-ibang uri ng komposisyon at malikhaing pagsulat.
 
Science
The Science and Technology Program play a major role in the life of every person, and on the material that comprise the whole world. The program equips the students with the knowledge, skills and values so as to be of service to mankind for the greater glory of god. It is the vision of the Science and Technology program to produce the men of Science in the future.
The Science program is divided into:
a. Grade 7 - General Science, Wherein it involves the basic concepts in the physical and biological sciences. It focuses on matter, force, energy, weather, and climate, earth and other heavenly bodies, and the basic concepts regarding the living world.
b. Grade 8 - Biology, the study of living creations of God and also to develop values that will bring about a greater appreciation of and deeper insights on the significance of life.
c. Grade 9 - Chemistry which deals with the study of the composition, structure, properties, classification of matter, the changes and the energy associated by these change and
d. Grade 10 - Physics, a physical science that deals with the properties, behavior and interaction of matter and energy.
The program aims to develop in the student’s critical and creative thinking, broad scientific and technological knowledge, vocational efficiency and proper application of scientific concepts to everyday life.
 
Mathematics
The Mathematics program gives the students opportunities to build their mathematical skills through exercises and supplementary problems that are of varied difficulties which lead the students to:
1. appreciate the role of mathematics in learning other disciplines and in the development of modern society;
2. empower and make them confident in their own abilities through constant application of mathematical tools;
3. help them become mathematical problem solvers, competent and able to apply skills and knowledge in solving complicated problems and are able to effectively address problems in other disciplines and challenges of everyday life;
4. facilitate their ability to communicate with others mathematically and help them clarify, refine and consolidate their feeling.
The Mathematics program focuses on the following areas per year level:
 
Grade 7 is Elementary Algebra. It deals with life situations and problems involving measurement, real number system, algebraic expressions, first degree equations and inequalities in one variable, linear equations in two variables, special products and factoring.
 
Grade 8 is Intermediate Algebra and Basic Statistics. It deals with systems of linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equation, rational algebraic expressions, variation, integral exponents, radical expressions, searching for patterns in sequences (arithmetic, geometric, etc.) as applied in real-life situations, and basic statistics.
 
Grade 9 is Geometry and Basic Trigonometry. It deals with the practical application to life of the geometry of shape and size, geometric relations, triangle congruence, properties of quadrilaterals, similarity, circles, planes coordinate geometry, trigonometric functions and basic identities.
 
Grade 10 is Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry. It deals with sets of real numbers, exponents, radical expressions and equation, special products and factoring, rational expressions and equation, quadratic equation, polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, right triangle trigonometry, circular functions, complex numbers, combination, permutations and probability.
 
Araling Panlipunan 1: Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas – Grade 7
Ang kursong ito ay inilaan para sa mga mag-aaral ng ikapitong baitang. Ito ay may malawak na pananaw at saklaw hinggil sa kasaysayan, kultura at pamahalaang Pilipinas. Saklaw din ng kursong ito ang paglalahad ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas batay sa pananaw ng Silanganin o batay sa pananaw ng pagiging makabayan. Binibigyan diin sa kursong ito ang iba’t-ibang yugto ng pakikipaglaban ng mga Pilipino sa mananakop na dayuhan upang makamtan ang kalayaan, pati na rin ang mga isyu na bumabalot sa bawat yugto ng himagsikan ng kasaysayan.
 
Araling Panlipunan II: Kasaysayan ng Asya – Grade 8
Ang kursong ito ay inilalaan para sa mga mag-aaral na nasa ikawalong baitang. Ang asignaturang ito ay tumatalakay sa kasaysayan at kabihasnan ng Asya na may malawak na pananaw tungkol sa kasaysayan at pag-unlad ng kabihasnan ng Asya. Tinatalakay rin dito ang pananaw ng bawat kultura ng bansa kung paano ito nakaapekto sa kanilang kasaysayan. Bahagi rin dito ang pakikipaglaban ng mga Asyanong bansa sa pananakop ng mga dayuhan, gayundin ang mga kaugalian tradisyon, at relihiyon.
 
Araling Panlipunan III: Kasaysayan ng Mundo Grade 9
Ang kursong ito ay inilalaan para sa mga mag-aaral na nasa ikasiyam na baitang. Ang asignaturang ito ay tumatalakay sa kasaysayan ng Mundo. Bibigyan pansin ang iba’t-ibang panahon ng tao gayundin ang mga bagay-bagay na kanilang natuklasan at ginamit para mabuhay ng maayos at makabuo ng sariling pulitika at lipunan ng kanyang panahon. Malalaman at mauunawaan ang mga paniniwala, sining, tradisyon at kultura, gayundin ang paraan ng kanilang pamumuhay. Kabilang din sa kursong ito ang mga pagbabagong naganap matapos ang digmaan at ang kalagayan ng mundo ngayon.
 
Araling Panlipunan IV: Kasaysayan ng Ekonomiks Grade 10
Ang kursong ito ay inilalaan para sa mga mag-aaral na nasa ikasampung baitang. Ang Ekonomiks ay naglalaman ng mahahalagang konsepto at prinsipyo ng kalagayang pangkabuhayan ng Pilipinas. Tinatalakay rin sa kursong ito ang iba’t-ibang saklaw ng ekonomiks, kasama ang sistema ng ekonomiya at sistemang pulitikal. Bahagi parin nito ang iba’t-ibang prinsipyo ukol sa suplay at demand. Inilalarawan din sa kursong ito ang kilos ng pamilihan, mga institusyong pananalapi pagbubuwis, ang sitwasyon ng pambansang kita at ang ugnayang panloob at panlabas na kalakalan ng bansa.
 
Music 7
Music has been very important in the life of all people. It plays special roles in daily living. If you would listen consciously around you, you will hear and experience music. We hear and express ourselves through music around us. Thus, the content of this course is centered on teaching students the importance of music, giving emphasis on the structure such as the melody, harmony, texture and rhythm.
 
Music 8
Music for the sophomores desires to inculcate to students the importance of Philippine music and learn to appreciate good music. In this course, the students will be given knowledge on the basics of music such as creating simple melody and providing simple rhythm while they learn to value Philippine music through the use of Philippine ethnic instruments.
 
Music 9
In this course, students will learn the value of communicating with other countries in terms of their culture and tradition. Music of Asian countries such as Indonesia, China, Thailand, Japan and others will be discussed to the students. Thus, they will be asked to compare the music of these countries and later discover that there is unity in Asian countries because of music.
 
Music 10
Music had been written or played in thousands of years. It started with nature’s sound like chirping of birds and blowing of the wind. Today, there are so much music to listen and so many works recorded. We sometimes listen to the old Baroque music without knowing it is needed Baroque, we are also familiar with Renaissance, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary music. In this course, the students will discover how the music they are appreciating today came to be. They will be fed with information regarding the different composers which had contributed much in the field of music.
 
Art 7
Art is one of the oldest and most important means of expression developed by human beings. In this course, the students will learn the value of art in communicating ideas and feelings about things.

Art is an emotional experience, in this course students will learn to value art as an expression of self through exposure to art works and actual experiences in creating their own art works.

 
Art 8
Art is a form of communication, a form of expressing ideas of persons like artists. It also speaks of national identity. It also mirrors the society, thus, shows the characteristic of beauty of a country, its people and culture.
 
Art 9
Art is not limited into paintings, architecture or sculpture. In this course students will discover that there is classification in arts called “combined arts” also called “performing arts”. The students will be exposed to such performing arts like dance, drama, opera, and films.
 
Art 10
Visual art is the most appreciated among arts since it easily attracts the viewer. There are many types of visual art and the most common are the Decorative art, Sculpture and Architecture. In this course, they will learn the value of different art works and get acquainted with the famous architectural works in the Philippines and around the world.
 
Health 7
Health education is educating students to value their health by sustaining and developing healthy habits and desirable lifestyle. It also deals with understanding why people should take necessary precautions to keep his body healthy. It also deals with applying concepts on real life situations to stay healthy. They will learn the basic of proper nutrition and maintaining proper diet needed by young adults.
 
Health 8
Health Education 8 is structured in such a way that it can provide students with activities and experiences that will develop in them smart decisions in achieving health. They will be encouraged to establish and develop desirable health habit that will benefit themselves and influence others. The course does not only tackle physical health but also emotional, social, mental, cultural and spiritual which will prepare them for better grown ups in the future.
 
Health 9
This course is intended to enhance the knowledge of the students on mental health to prepare them for a healthy-living and to create a solid foundation on their mental development. It is also designated to give proper information about population education which deals with proper learning and awareness, respect and love for creation.
 
Health 10
Family is the basic institution where all human being is a member. Family relationships must be nurtured so that it will remain intact and healthy.

In this course, the students who are in their teen years will learn the importance of having healthy family relationship. In preparation for their future; love, marriage and responsible parenthood will be discussed giving importance on the sacredness of marriage.

 
Physical Education 7
Physical activity has been the most important part of a person’s development from the time he was born. As teenagers, one should be exposed in different physical activities to develop their young physique. In this course, different physical activities are enclosed such as physical fitness test and exercise to guide young active teens to develop physically fit body and active lifestyle.
 
Physical Education 8
Physical Education for second year focuses on lecture and actual learning of the different skills in sports, games, folk dancing and other motor activities for fitness. These activities are designated to develop agility, endurance and coordination of the mind and body of the students.

Thus, this course is designated to prepare the students to be more highly active and physically fit.

 
Physical Education 9
Physical fitness is now universally recognized as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. In this course, the importance of “being fit” will be discussed to the students. They will be asked to establish a program of exercises in order to achieve better physical condition.
 
Physical Education 10
A sport is one of the best ways to keep a physically fit and healthy body. Sports today are accessible to all age groups but young adults have the most interest in sports, may it be individual, dual or group. Everybody enjoy playing, sport and physical activity which will enhance their skills and at the same time serve as outlet for their energy.

In this course, students will learn body conditioning and proper warm ups to prepare them for active and semi active sports. They will also learn how to recognize and manage sports competition and prepare them to later extend this knowledge on sports management in their own communities.

 
Citizens Advancement Training (CAT)
Citizens Advancement Training or CAT is a restructuring of the citizens Army Training and is a component of MAPEH in Grade 10. It aims to teach and enhance the students’ social responsibility and commitment to the development of their communities; and develop their ability to uphold law and order as they assume active participation in community activities, and their readiness in assisting the members of the community in times of emergency.

Since Military orientation is a component of the subject, the students will be exposed to the basic knowledge, unfamiliar situations and experiences as well activities related to citizenship training.

They will also be exposed on activities that will help achieve the general welfare and the betterment of life of the members of their community.

This program is a requirement for graduation for all grade10 students.

 
Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE)
Technology and Livelihood Education is designed to include areas which will prepare Anthonians to mobilize all the resources available to achieve a high quality of life. It is aimed to effect students to become productive and self-reliant, equipped with the necessary know- how and skills enabling them to respond to the demands of the highly challenging world of work. This is the response to the need that society depends so much on man’s skills and intelligence especially in this time where quality, competitiveness and excellence redefines the meaning of a modern and civilized society.

TLE for First and Second years offers exploratory areas in Home Economics (Home and Family Living, Food and Applied Nutrition, and Sewing) .Industrial Arts (General Woodworking, General Electricity and Drafting) and Entrepreneur ship.

Third and Fourth years offers specialized areas in sewing Technology, Food Technology and Bookkeeping.

In this program, students are also taught to exercise reflective thinking in order to come up with sound decisions and judgments. Value formation is integrated in the different activities to emphasize the importance and development of desirable work habits and attitudes.

 
Computer Education
Computer Education covers a comprehensive discussion on the principles, concepts and processes in computer applications using Red Hat Linux as Operating System. The course will provide opportunities for students to develop knowledge, skills as well as cyber ethics regarding applications of computers, the content includes, but is not limited to computer components, terminology, capabilities and limitations, careers, roles and implications in society, word processing, spreadsheets, data base management, graphics and programming awareness and applications. Intensive hands-on experiences are an integral part of the requirements of the program.
