SASAA, USA Chapter officially formed,
Second USA Grand Reunion forthcoming...
On November 12, 2005, a meeting was called to officially form the Saint Anthony School Alumni Association, USA Chapter (SASAA USA) and to discuss the preparation for the next USA Grand Reunion. The meeting was held at the home of our generous host Charlie and Elizabeth Yap Imperial in San Marcos, California. During the meeting, it was unanimously agreed that there is need to establish a formal and official SASAA, USA. Attendees were in agreement that this body will be an autonomous and independent body from SASAA,, Manila Chapter. However, the USA Chapter will work closely with the Manila Chapter in all its endeavors and vice-versa. There will be mutual cooperation and communication. |

| It was agreed that five advisers will be solicited and will come from the first five batches of 1964-1968. SASAA USA Chapter will need some volunteers and/or nominees for these positions. |

2006 Reunion
The attendees agreed that the next reunion will be in Las Vegas, July 6-9, 2006. It was also agreed that SASAA USA Chapter will need at least two batch representatives from each class. The first Grand Reunion was a great success because of the monumental efforts of each batch representatives. Our Las Vegas SAS Alumni headed by Ruth Reyes (1974), will be canvassing several hotels for our venue. It is expected that the next reunion will have between 400-500 attendees. SASAA, USA Chapter knows that there are a lot of you Anthonians out there, anxiously waiting for the next big reunion. |
